Like a number of places, we've had a heat wave here for almost 2 weeks. It's over now, but we're still having around 30°C (86°F) this week and are expected to have higher temperatures as of the end of next week (so long as it won't reach 40-41°C/104-106°F again, I'm OK with it, I guess).
But let's face it: it wouldn't be doable without the AC in the house. I know it's a sensitive topic to many Europeans, but I don't care. AC is life. *lol* The past 2 weeks have proven it. Our old one is 20 years old now (we bought it during a heat wave during the 2006 World Cup, ironically enough). It's still doing its job (just needs new coolant) but I decided to upgrade to one with several units all over different rooms. The new one will be installed either next week while I'm taking my puppy home or the week after. ❄ 🥳
