Love the imagery, and now makes me want to read books about broken and crumbling estates and ghostly fungi!!
The prose is definitely loaded and evocative of the claustrophobic and oppressive atmosphere of the House of Usher.
Highly recommended for the memorability, storyline and re-readability.
