The section on gender gaps in medical research and pharmaceuticals has lead me to suspect that our anti-inflammatory dry eye medications are probably not specifically tested on women or the results analysed by gender, even though we know that women experience dry eyes and particularly severe inflammatory dry eye at a much higher rate than men. I will look into it.
