I have no idea who the main character is as a person and I'm on her head. Only character trait i currently have is push over. Isn't this book supposed to be good? Why does she have 0 idea about the world or what's going on in it? That seems like a terrible idea for a royal family as she would be nothing but a trading asset even though they already betrothed her to a different character. Makes no sense.

"This book is so good! There are so many good twists!" Oh really coworker, because I'll tell you right now "Guardian" is the actual prince, this girl has magic probably related to the monsters, and her betrothed at the beginning is absolutely going to be a bad guy later. Oh, I also bet her mom is still alive and a bunch of people are going to be dead by the end of the book. The world building is keeping me here.
