The character moments in this book are so lacking. I feel like they all say the same punchlines they’ve always said. This book doesn’t bring anything original or interesting to these “beloved” characters.

Magnus continues to be the most (if not the only) interesting, complex, and overall entertaining character in this entire series.

I envision Tian as Mingi from Ateez.

Once a mortal instruments stan, always a mortal instruments stan. Characters are slightly older, being in their early twenties. Still babies though. I really enjoy how the eldest curses series takes us to different areas of the globe besides America or England. Aside from Shinyun being SO annoying I really am enjoying this so far.
