Anyone ever continue reading, but completely stop reviewing? How ... uhm, do I fix that?

☆ Annie ☆ Omg that's a hard relate! I am definitely at a better place right now but I really went through it for nearly a year. In my case, taking the pressure off and reminding myself that the priority is always the books and my enjoyment of them is what really helped. It helped with the guilt I was feeling too, as it refocused my energy. I still don't review as I used to (honestly, I am also at a different life point now to where I was 10 years ago and my energy is simply not the same nor is the way I spend it) but even a few words at a time will build your momentum. But please do remember, it's fine if you do and fine if you don't! You set the rules!

Oooh, I hear you, thank you so much for your comment! I've struggled with having read less books than I used to, but usually reviewing was so much fun. These days I kind of do it out of obligation (to no one else but me, because how else am I going to remember if I liked a book, haha), but I think the engagement on reviews that I used to get played a biiig role in motivation to write them. So maybe adapting the energy I put into it to a similar level might be the way and use the extra energy I have to read, as you said :)
Thank you!!
