A friend asked me to read this historical fiction novel from an editor’s perspective. It was first published in 2005. As indicated in the acknowledgements the story of Mike Murata, his friends, and relatives are fictional but the setting and politics of the time is well researched. The author spent 10 years researching and writing this story. Sources are provided. Great work so far.
