Typo: extra quotation mark after the word "right."

"But you didn't mention anything about werewolves before. You just said it was some sort of special wolf."

What?! Are you talking about?! He told you she was a werewolf when you first met him! Page 58! Or is it somehow supposed to be significant that he's now using the word "werewolf," as opposed to just telling you that she's a wolf that can turn into a human?

Why is lycanthropy being called "the taint?" It's been framed as a good/natural thing up until now.

Another small but weird thing: silver bullets hurting werewolves really feels like a fantasy trope. It doesn't really fit a scientist who's (I guess?) supposed to be interested in them for genetic research or whatever.

I don't know why the mooks suddenly need surnames at this point in the story, but whatever.

They did this earlier in the book, and we're even told here that they've done this before, but it's being written like doing this is some big deal and Noble has never seen the others like this before. It's weird.

Again, I don't think random-ass nobodies can just call the school and ask for personal information about the students.

Why doesn't Doctor Monk just say that she's a werewolf? I mean, the obvious answer is because that makes him sound insane, but other times he's perfectly willing to do it. Does he care about seeming crazy or not?

I...do not think that this would work. Like...in general, I don't know if, legally, these people could just allow Doctor Monk to do this. But when his reasoning is "because I think this wolf is a werewolf," I really don't think a politician is going to stick his neck out.
