What you need to know is that this book is 3 parts.
Incidentally, parts 1 & 2 are Pride and Prejudice, which our author wasn’t aware already exists, so she took the liberty of recapping it. Albeit with the flimsy excuse of it being “from Mary’s perspective”. Unnecessary.
Part 3 is where, God willing, the story of Mary post-P&P will take place, which of course, is what this entire book is meant to be.
