basic premise is pretty interesting, feels like a modern/positivist psychoanalytic perspective that incorporates elements of mindfulness/buddhism

however there are parts that are a bit off-putting / cultish and at times it feels like the book/concepts are punching above where they should, as the author tries to fit his theory of mind/self into society as a whole. if you can see past this, it’s pretty good lol
