so zhao chao did turn out to be a jealous snake. there was no way he was gonna let meow go so easily. idk how this is gonna turn out but if i was you miao, id get rid of zhao chao and let his cousin rule as the regent for the crown prince. zhao chao is not needed anymore.

im not an expert on anything really, least of all military stuff, but it does sound a bit weird that a vast empire like tianqi can barely scrape together a handful of generals, even less than a handful now, actually. rn all it takes for the enemy is to assassinate, like, two people and that is, game over.
