every time she's nice or just normal towards kaden anger bubbles up inside me, like.. girl he kidnapped you and threatened to kill your friend. his group probably killed your brother's wife and he's to deliver you on a silver platter to a very likely ruthless king. im gonna need you to at least glare at him every time he breathes

please don't let her end with kaden, i need her and rafe to be endgame

the reveal was great, im so glad her romantic lead is another prince 🥳

here's the thing... so far I'm guessing that Rafe is the assassin and Kaden is the prince. That's my guess, I'm open to being wrong honestly. But my thing is that they haven't built any romance. From the very beginning you kind of get that she is interested in Rafe and Kaden is just... there? No romance, so it's so hard to root for anyone. Like at this point I'm rooting for Kaden just to play devils advocate.

we've spent 40% of the book on terravin and so far, nothing has happened besides the prince and the assassin arriving ...

I already know that there's a plot twist because it's what it's hyped the most about this book. So far, I think The Assassin is a good guy because he said he has only killed people who have endangered his comrades. So this is the first time the target is an innocent girl. But the prince seems like a good romantic interest too, damn... This is hard
