I LOVE Fern, and the ASD representation! The story itself is really good, and she’s fantastic at writing narcissistic mothers, however, as a thriller it’s rather weak. I’m not sure what exactly we’re supposed to be finding out, I mean obviously whatever happened when they were kids but it’s building a little slow

Even tho it’s a terrible thriller the book is fantastic, the characters are superbly developed, the representation is there and her being a librarian and the setting often being in a setting makes this book a fluke 5
