Well, looks like we have confirmation about how the satellite was able to have a rough landing and got into Piedmont, poisoning all the residents in the first place, but there is still one more level the guys will have to go through to get to Stage 5 (V). Time for another round of decontamination.

Ok, so we are slowly getting there as they are making advancements towards finding a cure for the Andromeda strain. Some of them have inner thoughts while others are shocked at how time flies faster.

At noon, the scientists get together to discuss their findings, meanwhile Major Mulchek flogs to discover a peculiar sight.
Ok, so we have some advancements on the Andromeda Strain studies. But what is strange is that an aircraft suddenly disintegrated in midair. I’m not sure how it would fit into the larger narrative, but I’m guessing that the strain has jumped species somehow.

Ok, so we have a chapter that displays a few of the mistakes that the crew have made. I’m pretty sure they will come to realise the errors once they find out about it before the end of the book.

Well, it took about the halfway point, but I do believe that we have found an interesting development in the search for the cure. Will they be able to make the cure in time, one can only know.

At Level V, the group of men do some testing on animals in order to determine how dangerous the strain is, then Hall goes to the Miscellaneous room and check up on the old man & the baby.
It appears we are going to discover a surprising amount of knowledge about the strain and the interesting connection between both the baby & the old man & their aversion to the disease.

Finished Day 2, where the 5 main men descend through each different levels from 1 (I) to 4 (IV) where they go through each decontamination process without flinching.
This book’s use of different colour pallets for each level is very interesting, giving off a different type of colour for every level that people come across. It would make for great production design.

Stone & Burton encounter peculiar ways that the citizens of Piedmont have died, while finding some more interesting discoveries. All of this brings up Directive 7-12.
This book has a very interesting sequence of people who died in Piedmont in peculiar ways. It’s not clear on why, or how, the residents have died with a lack if body fluids, but this intrigues me.
