The critique of History and Class Consciousness by Lukács is very strong. I sorta see where this part of the book is going for, but I feel like it detours a little far from the political economy-heavy part one. If someone isn't very familiar with Lukács and Weber, they'd be lost.

Last chapter was an absolute banger. This chapter critiquing the influence of Weber is very challenging though.

Could be worth checking out Karel Kosík's "Dialectics Of the Concrete", which is also somewhere on my list.
