feeling conflicted - I wish this book was the first release of the (now) saga - I think it feels a little bit nostalgia bait / rehashing a lot of information based on the fact its a prequel to a very well known universe. But I don't think that would have worked... Haymitch's perspective is strong, but depends on the readers knowledge and anticipation of what coming in 25yrs with Katniss and co.
