Reiko, disoriented as always, was at the cafe once again. Nagare convinced her to stay a while. Then, Yukika (her younger sister) visited from the past.

Trying to remain composed, Reiko tried lying to Yukika that she and Mamoru (ex-fiance) were going to get married.

Yukika knew she was lying and said that she knows she's going to die. She visited because she was "worried that (Reiko) will forget how to smile"

Hayashida arrived at the cafe just as Todoroki travelled to the past. Hayashida was angry as he knew that Todoroki has no intention of returning to the present.

Todoroki told the staff that he contacted Hayashida, but they didn't know the content of the message.

He said to handle loose ends - hinting that he plans to die.

Hayashida visited the cafe, in the hopes that Todoroki will appear. They're the Poron Doron duo comedians & they recently won a Grand Prix for comedy then Todoroki disappeared. Todoroki's wife had died prior & Hayashida assumed he would visit the cafe to go back.

Reiko was also in the cafe & asked when her sister was coming, she has not properly gotten over her sister's death. Kazu said she was not there yet.

Upon Yayoi's return, as the man in black returned and she was about to pay, her mother, Miyuki, appeared. Miyuki was "saved" by Yukari, and travelled to the future, where she met Yayoi.

Yayoi, like her mother, wanted to end it. Both of them wanted to die, but they decided to continue living. Yayoi didn't last out at her parents, and managed to "bond" a bit with her mom.

The first time Yayoi left the cafe, she accidentally dropped a photo of her parents, her as a baby, & Yukari at the side.

Yayoi returned to the past with the intention of unleashing her pent up anger at her parents. She met Yukari. Upon her parents arrival, she learnt that her mother experienced similar things as her (abandonment etc.).

End up, she did not rage, and was in fact the one who took the photograph.

A customer who was at the cafe earlier had returned (Yayoi Seto) & dropped a photo when leaving. The photo shows a baby, a couple, and Yukari.

The couple was Yayoi's parents who had died. Yayoi intended on time travelling back to the past. As Reiji explained the rules, Yayoi was getting agitated & has a grudge against her parents.

There's also a ghost in the cafe, a man in black this time.

We're introduced to Cafe Donna Donna in Hokkaido where Nagare & Kazu works? Time travel seems to exist there too, with the same rules.

In the 2nd book, last we knew was that Kazu was 29 years old and pregnant. She also decided to be happy and told to her mom, Kaname, in which her mother suddenly disappeared afterwards.

Kazu is now 37 years old. We meet Nanako (student) & Saki (works at psych department).

OMG Kei is back from Book #1. The intro is of her call with Nagare from when she travelled to the future to meet Miki!
