Is it messed up if I say that Sanderson is a much better writer than Jordan? Though this book lands in an odd half-way point between on the one hand, clearly mimicking Jordan as it can (laboured metaphors etc, though not *over*-laboured), while on the other being so predictably Sanderson that I've literally found myself guessing what words he's going to use next as I listen to the audiobook.
