Really heating up now

At this point it seems like satire how the high class people act - only caring about their income and marriage plans. Stuff is heating up now, think tomorrow will be a lot of action.

I’ve reached a reading flow state - flying through this and following along with relevant sparknotes and family trees to keep track of the characters and their connections. This book is crazyyy and it’s wild to see Dumas actually fill so many pages with thick plot and several subplots in every chapter. Really loving this and excited to see it start to reach the climax.
