2.5 star this was a very basic read for me never super crazy or stand out happened. I started reading as a suggestion for my sister, because I didn’t have any background knowledge on Greek gods or Roman god and wants to start reading the Iliad. I didn’t think it was cool that one of the teachers actually tells Percy Jackson, to read the Iliad

This year’s also has some books in the series and the kid is also 12 when it starts which is how old I think Kari is at the beginning of that series
