I've just read the introduction and skimmed through the historical event. I will, from now on, apply this structure whenever I read nonfiction book since it helps me see the context better (jeez I should reread the five dialogues again IT IS MENTIONED MANY TIMES HERE ;-;)
What's interesting so far is there's actually a discussion about elementary school and censorship, something I thought I won't meet here. Excited!

Funny I can make connections from Book II to Indonesia and kabinet gemuknya. Glaucon and Adeimantus' arguments are strong though, like, it works if we see humans as social animals (realistically speaking). Oh, I love when they talk about censorship. Weird to see Aristotle lowkey denying Greek gods' anthropomorphic nature (and then defend it apologetically). This one is fun and pretty understandable!

Thrashy Thrasymachus IS ragebaited. What I got from here is:
1. Justice is NOT what is advantageous to the stronger. Even if advantageous, it is not profitable in long term,
2. Because it does not fulfill the corresponding virtue of a soul.
3. Political obedience comes from check and balances, not solely because we love rulers' skills
Understandable & fun, I need to learn more though, yay!
