This book has so many damn characters

ok I’m not exactly sure what the plot is but shit is happening

Took me forever to get through the first ‘book’ but I’m glad I took my time with it and made sure I understood everything

I forgot how much fun it is to annotate classics. You start reading something translated from an era of literature you’ve never ventured into before, and as you’re reading, none of it makes sense, but after rereading the same 3 pages a few times, you suddenly understand what’s going on!! It’s just fun to figure things out for yourself.
