Shallan must’ve gotten her shardblade from her father in some way, the glowing behind the painting has to be something. But then would she have had some idea of her abilities? She couldn’t have because pattern hadn’t shown up yet. What could it have possibly been that only she could see?

Urithuru has to be in shadesmar. It’s a place that is close to every kingdom but not quite there. The parshendi have forgotten so much of their history but it’s deeply connected to the spren and the storms and hearing voices in the wind.
