I love her as an influencer, but gosh this book is starting to get on my nerves. So much that I take other book breaks.

It’s a lot of nothingness? I know this is suppose to be Milly’s diary and random thoughts. And though she did reflect upon them and obviously doesn’t have the answers to it all… she doesn’t really give me anything. I know there are loads of quotes added, but it’s style make me question weather they had impacted her or Pinterest just was really good that day.

“They didn’t disagree or argue back, they just hadn’t really thought about it like that (which wasn’t a supprise to me.”
The writing is nice yet she continues to argue that simple thoughts are revolutionary. Because non of her friends ever thought. Which I fair thought, yet there is no way… being 28..? Idk most of these things seem pretty obvious?

As much as this is the first book I reach for, this books and the way it’s written gives me anxious shrugs. My shoulders build up high and my eyes narrow. Milly shares very vulnerable her life, yet with a lot of anxious tension. I guess you could say that she does her job as a writer.?
Although I am glad to read thoughts, which I myself thought to belong in the “I have only thought this” category.

One thing I love about reading is that it offers insights to others thoughts in other places. If it wasn’t for them noting and sharing their experience, we could be left without knowing.

Honestly tho her writing style is very podcasty/voiceovery, I mirror myself in what I believe my writing looks like. (Trying to analyze others writing style in order to better my own.)

This is such a cute book, Im definitely gonna enjoy reading it!
