SPOILER ALERT:

I have officially stopped feeling bad for Sloane. I would have felt bad for her if she maybe ended things with Reese before jumping in bed with Ethan…but I just can’t feel bad for someone who cheats. And Reese has every right to block her, feel anger and resentment whenever he sees her, everything. And now Sloane is getting what she deserves by being forced to put up with Ethan again.

SPOILER ALERT:

Ugh I wanted to give this book a 5 stars so bad (and it was headed that direction) up until we hit one of my least favorite tropes in the book…

I love Reese so much for Sloane but why did she have to go cheating on him…with Ethan??? Ugh!! I’m actually a mixture of mad and sad!! Why did she have to cheat? And I also fear we won’t get a true reason behind what Ethan keeps doing to Sloane…

We finally reached part 2, and here are some short thoughts I have:

- absolutely adore Reese!
- ethan needs to take care of himself and stop wasting Sloane's time
- my girl sloane, I love that you are using writing as an outlet! Thrive in your career!
- and now I want to finish the second part of this book!!
- also, Alissa released a new book which I need ASAP!!

I mean, the fact that they are long distance without labels…that could never be me.

Even though we get prefaced into what already happens in the beginning, the feelings are so real as we keep seeing Sloane and Ethan’s story evolve. I know I’m going to be sobbing when their time together is officially over.

Yo…how did I already go through a circle of emotions within the beginning part of this book. Like I wanted to cry alongside Sloane because younger me totally related to how she was feeling.

Allison you did amazingly with showing how one can be in circles when navigating a situationship and omg it’s truly a mental torture cycle. I’m legit crying right now!!
