Okay selecting the only female character that hasn’t died yet to be kidnapped and then saying not “oh we are gonna kill her” but the words “we are gonna RUIN her” is the EPITOME of white male cis writing, and I get that this book was written in the 2010s but it’s highly acclaimed and all besides *grindset* im constantly thinking about the toxic masculinity in this book
