This is such a misogynistic novel. The writing of Doreen wtf. Everyone is one dimensional vapid and annoying. YA my-deeper-than-I can-express sadness-is-the-centre-of-the-universe vibes, and all the other girls in it are ugly and have acne, and are not like our little Nila with her body hair and dirty nails, which makes her cooler.
