Henry, I overestimated you. Also appreciate that the smut parts are kept pretty vague and fade to black-esque. Just a pretty fun, feel-good book, and I hope they stick the landing (lowkey worried about how they’re planning to do this..).

Did not expect the twist of Bridget having encountered this parallel universe situation before. For some reason the kiss scene did have me smiling like an idiot. I wonder if they’re gonna pull off a SVTFOE type of solution at the end of this in order to keep River and Gertie together, because so far they haven’t addressed that they’ll need to separate.

I was wrong, Henry is an asshole that was probably cheating on Gert even before they started their break. Her upset is a little unfounded though, because from an outside perspective she really has no right to be mad about the Marisol situation.

I’m liking this more than I initially thought I would. I just feel bad because Henry doesn’t seem like a bad guy necessarily, just not the right guy or right time for Gertie.
