I've always felt like the dhampyr was supposed to be a bigger thing since it's one of the only classes of vampires that Sid explained.

Especially with what's learned about a character later on.

But I guess it kind of just fell through cracks or Mr. Henderson just didn't like the idea anymore.

Little me really had no idea how much the Villa Diodati Party would shape the course of this series.

And so begins Alex stressing his mentor out even though he isn't even his mentor yet.

Also, Sangster, who is his mentor and Lit teacher, is really hot.

Pre-Thoughts: I first read this book in middle school and it is what started my obsession with vampires back then.

I still love these books so much that for Christmas a few years ago my family got all three books rebound for me to have my own 'special addition" versions of them which are what I'm reading right now.
