Yah? I’ve just found that I generally prefer sunshine and rainbows so Dickens’ books are not as easy for me to get through 😂 but also the plots seem rather….confusing? 😂 idk but we’ll see how I like it
I'm at chapter 52, I think? I'm listening to a podcast where she reads them and then explains confusing things along the way. You'd love it - Storytime for Grownups. I totally get what you mean about sunshine! Copperfield is a good real life kind of story. Life isn't all sunshine nor all darkness.
My favorite book used to be Book Thief though, so I am not strictly a rainbows person when it comes to books 😂 so maybe don't take my recs as law or anything lol
Haha ok! lol Yeah, I want to like that type of book so maybe my priorities are a bit off and I need to change them 🤔 I think overall I’ll like Copperfield though!

I get that! I think it's important to be able to love lots of different kinds of stories, cause God writes all kinds. You're awesome!

I should start going back and forth between a fun book and a harder/ nonfiction book 🤔
