Been reading bits at a time but haven’t updated so here we are!

I’ve been forcing myself to ready every night and I really like that as my routine. Still liking my book and hoping to get a big chunk done on my flight Saturday :)

Okay so scratch what I said in my last update, Beamer is still nuts and his plot gets even more absurd. Really didn’t want to stop reading tn but have to sleep at some point

Still really liking this book and I’m kinda surprised by that. I used to think I hated character driven plots but maybe because this is so strange and generally out there, it’s more entertaining. I also have zero clue where the plot is headed rn. It almost feels like Beamer is on the cusp of becoming a decent person but that seems impossible

This plot is just so absurd and cynical and funny? I’m really enjoying it and find myself excited to read more, even though it’s a bit dense

The story is good but the actual writing/text is just super bulky and wordy. Like literally an entire page of text without dialogue or paragraphs so this may take a while

So far, so good. I like the narrator’s all-knowing and very sarcastic perspective. I will say though, this book may give me trouble because there aren’t consistent chapters. For instance, the next section isn’t until page 164. Anyways! Happy to be reading a new book :)
