Feels a bit like I’m witnessing a version of the great Tessa, Will and Jem love triangle.

(But I don’t actually trust either of them)

This is bringing back the nostalgia of the 2010s fantasy/dystopian romance in the best way possible. Genuinely might be able to overlook some of the bad writing just for that.

I’m finding it really difficult to picture the vibe of this place and the technology and the setting. Like it’s all a bit weird in my mind. I don’t feel like I’ve got a clear picture of it

Started reading this on the plane for a light read. Whilst the prose aren’t generally very impressive I am aware she was quite young when she wrote it so I can definitely see the potential she has that I assume has only improved in her later books.
So far I’m pretty interested in the story. Hopefully this will get me out of a reading slump
