Vader finds the Grysks, Thrawn cooks a plan, Vader like always disagrees but is convinced by Thrawn. Stormtroopers board a ship and rescue chiss children which they use to fight. Thrawn destroys all but one Grysk ship. He reflects on multiple loyalties.

Dooku is making lightsaber resistant clone trooper armour to infiltrate the republic. Plans to use Serrenians to guarantee he gets access to the senate first. Anakin cuts the factory down, they make a big escape, Anakin is insisting they destroy the mine and doesn’t give the local a choice.

Anakins diversion continues but runs into apparently unstoppable b2s. But he destroys 1 by stabbing it in the eye, then Thrawn returns like James Bond and kills the other 2. They plan to destroy the factory and mine now. Nice detail from Zahn is anakin naturally calling them sand angels instead of snow angels.
Solha finds Padme while R2 is working on the b2. They exchange views and he reveals he knows their plans

Thrawn explains to Vader that the chiss children prisoners are force sensitive unknown region navigators for the chiss ascendancy. Vader questions his loyalty, Thrawn talks him down. He convinces Vader to navigate the unknown regions himself and Zahn ties the chosen one prophecy in by having the chiss name for the ones who have that power a sky-walker, as if they were meant to meet.

Incredible chapter, explains that the Grysks move planets into the hyperspace lanes to prevent people entering unknown regions. Thrawn has a plan, but Vader steps in, takes responsibility for handling the planet, while leaving Thrawn to do the space attack. Vader fight is sick, find Chiss children prisoners on mokivj. Thrawn outsmarts grysks in space battle. He wants to speak with Vader.

Padme tells Thrawn that a Marg Sabl is a Togrutan flower that opens up, which is the name of Ahsokas manoeuvre in the clone wars when she turns the venator away from the Seps and releases the fighters in secret. Anakin is toying with Solha by having his droids shoot each other. Thrawn reveals his mission was to retrieve a power generator, leaving Padme to find anakin alone. What is the underlying motivation presently

Padme meets up with the locals again and are about to make a plan for getting Anakin, who broke out of the cell with Thrawn. I like how vaders unusual patience for Thrawn comes from respect because of what they went through and he knows what Thrawn is capable of. Padmes turning into Rambo. Padme finds Anakin and Thrawn, they plan their escape. First thing Thrawn notices about Padme is her ascension gun, great writing

Kimmund thinks about Thrawns leadership and influence on his crew, compared to the tyrannical leadership of most imp commanders. Kimmund finds the grysk prisoners trying to escape, and captures them with the help of rukh. Thrawn and Vader discuss the failed plan to bait the prisoners to use the ship to go back to their origin. They have to go back to mokivj. Thrawn knows Vader is anakin. Vader remains secretive

Thrawn finds the gravity well projector that stopped them from getting to batuu and further into the unknown regions. All while keeping Vader in the dark, who is getting more and more impatient. Vader and the first legion go through a Grysk ship that they lured in because of Thrawn. Now Thrawn has agreed to tell Vader some of his secrets

Padme moves from the boat to the abandoned part of the factory and witnesses the scrap anakin causes. Powerless to help him
