Hard to make up my mind about this novel. Can be very boring at times but surprises you whenever things seem to get too dull. Was reading this and was thinking about how Lynchian this novel is. K, going into the painters' room only for the law offices to be connected to it and the children running him off while the haze makes him deathly nauseous—incredibly dreamlike. Turns out Lynch is a huge fan of FK.
