Uh… hmm… idk how I feel about this MMC. He comes off immature, entitled, and not emotionally regulated. Yes, he is upset but his violent outburst seems like an overreaction. 😥 All I’ll say is, there is not enough story for me to feel as though he won’t take out his rage on the FMC if he doesn’t get his way.

Also, this is a prime example of why I hate the “brother’s best friend” trope. It feels outdated and super misogynistic. Bc 1) this trope is largely written as though the sister has no say in whom she gets to date. 2) why would you not want your sister to date your boy?? Are you saying you’re such a bad judge character that you would hang around with someone who would intentionally hurt your sister? 😓
