I still appreciate Hornet's caring side. She's loyal to Prosper and Bo. 🥰

Victor is being consistently outsmarted by Prosper, Bo, Hornet, and company. That doesn't say much about Victor's intelligence. 🤨

Bo seems to be compassionate. He was concerned about Victor's physical well-being.

Also, one of Victor's tortoises is sick. 😟

I accidentally stumbled across a spoiler about the movie adaptation earlier today. I'm guessing that the book and the movie are similar because I just read the big spoiler. So I wasn't spoiled for long. 😅

"You never know right away whether someone is really nice," Prosper replied. "And you can't tell from the way someone looks. How often do I have to tell you that?"

The last sentence seems condescending, but I agree with everything else that Prosper told Bo. This dialogue resonates with the overly cynical part of my mind that doesn't trust people anymore.

I'm surprised that the Conte didn't care about Scipio's age. He just wants Scipio's help.

Prosper thought he could outsmart Victor by dyeing his hair and Bo's hair. That didn't work out well. 😖
