The writing is beautiful and atmospheric though.

I am really enjoying the writing style so far. The descriptions often combine senses, which leaves me wondering if the author possibly has synesthesia? Either way, her writing creates vivid imagery that is enjoyable to read. I am very intrigued by the Train Conductor and interested in learning more about her character.
