It‘s a profilic ability of a writer to describe so much using so little time and words. I love how Shibasaki looks at the things humans can mold as well as outside conditions laying for beyond human reach at the same time. Nameless protagonists kind of appear like we‘re watching with birds-eye view but in some stories, we‘re deeply into their emotional landscape. I‘ll miss this when it is over.

Encounters of contingeny facilitated by spacial structures that somewhat endure over time albeit transformed. I somehow fell in love with these stories, now that the book is ending. Loved the airport setting.
