More than anything this is a book about atonement and repentance. Also really enjoy how the book describes how Carrie knows something’s not quite right with Tommy asking her to the dance. She’s not stupid, he knows there’s some kind of ulterior motive whether it’s benevolent or not.

It does please me that both Desjardin and Grayle ate those slimy ass Hargensen people UP
