Very nice story and character development that effortlrss mutants into a paragraph or pages of text that give my the absule heeby jeebies so I need to scan to get the jist cuz that itself is alot

Wow I have A LOT to say about this tale. I'll gather my thoughts once I finish and have a full overview.

In the meantime. Whoa. I live in PEI on the coast n have a small island front n centre of my view . An island much like the fictional island in the novel.

And I have high tolerance for EW...worked in childcare so snot poop blood is old news. This book made me burp while reading cuz it triggered my gag reflex.

I didn't know this takes place in the very province where I live!!!!!!!!! So far the reference to places and counties is mixed up (for fictional purposes, aka opening of the book says Lower Montague is in Prince County when that's is the other side of the province. Lower Montague is in Kings County) but the descriptions of the year environment is accurate. And omg the vibes, weird vagrant loose in the woods.yes plz
