That’s as pleasant as an ending that we’re getting. Im glad that Alixana yet lives, and that she and Crispin may find some sort of happiness in one another. So bittersweet. But life often is. I think that is why I love GGK’s books so much. They pluck the chords of my sorrow, but in a way that allows room for hope. Rare, that. Al-Rassan, I await thee.

This ending hurts. For all her faults and blinding vengeance, I pity Styliane. And mostly because Crispin loved her.

At least Rustem’s story ended well. God I am going to cry ugh

God this is so fucking sad. This is going to be a bittersweet ending.

And after all that death and misery, they’re going to tear down Crispin’s work. Over religious nonsense. True to life, that!
