eh .. odd thing for a Welsh brother to say or did the 'Canadian eh' originate in Wales. not sure what to make of the priest protagonist being shown as having had a "good life" in page 2 of the 1st book of the series & good life of course meaning women
Seem to demean his calling as a celibate monk and definitely would call into question his character. Surely he could have chosen something else to retire to (p.3, ¶2)

Not a bad start. Kind of getting into it finally after forcing myself to read this. Almost a year since I have had this i my shelf.
