idk how to say this, and i don't want to put it in my full review at the end in case the author checks, but this book, which i assume is for adults, feels very much at like, a 5th-grade reading level. there will be multiple paragraphs describing the plot of a kids book or like, a joke that could be one line taking up 3 paragraphs. lots of repeating. lots of rhetorical questions. at least it reads fast. :/
