love the characters but this is the most thrill-less thriller i’ve ever read. it’s more of a slow paced who dunnit if anything.

a study needs to be done on the impact being on single mother has on the female psyche. how it literally robs the joy of motherhood because they’re in a constant state of fight or flight and how that stress is passed on to their kids. ESPECIALLY their daughters.
