I stayed up until 1 am on a work day to finish this book. There was no avoiding it at this point, because I’m addicted, and now that it is over for the moment, I don’t know what to do. This series will be on my mind until the next comes out and I cannot wait for it. As usual, Matt has created something that I don’t think I can ever find again. 5/5 please release the next soon!

I’m so genuinely surprised right now that that actually worked as you intended. It followed all the unspoken author rules, and yet I’m still surprised because, after all, this is DCC, and nothing follows the rules other than “chaos. Chaos reigns.”

I made the mistake of reading this last chapter before work today. The AI’s lore drop has been on my mind all day. Prepotente’s song has been playing on repeat. My brain is reeling, trying to connect the pieces. I have now read this chapter again, and I’m so scared for where this leads but oddly excited to see it too. Let the ride begin. “Unity, support, family, and kneecapping b-! Hell yeah!”
