I found out before this series that Lady Amber is the Fool under another name and knowing that my favourite character of the series is here in all their genderfluid glory make this read worth it already. I cannot be separated from my Shayla 😌.

I was right about Wintrow, he's now officially my favourite for this trilogy. I love a spiritual character (see the Fool) and Wintrow just has a fundamental need to be level headed and kind (take notes everyone else) it's really sweet. I hope he doesn't lose it too much as he gets older like Fitz did. Althea is growing on me though.

Oh WOW Kyle seemed mostly incompetent so I expected him to be a POS on all counts but hes actually a really good husband. Who would've thought!
