The problem with reading books about television is that you want to watch all of it at the same time. Also, Newsradio! Caroline in the City! I loved those shows back in the day.

James Burrows ended up directing TV because he became friends with Mary Tyler Moore while consoling her during the terrible musical version of Breakfast at Tiffany's, which was so bad it never even opened.
