I’m having trouble connecting with this book. I’m not sure what it is but I think it’s the dialogue that’s cringing me out. I starting feeling a bit better about it in the last 20 pages, though. And I’m really hoping I click with the book cause I bought a physical copy that I don’t want for it to go to waste. But yeah I just really really really wanna love this.

Ok!! This is cute! I’m liking it! I just hope there’s more to happen… some actual drama idk. But otherwise I am hooked. Also, Maverick is filthy af in the hottest way possible. He got me clenching every page.

Ok, I gotta admit I might have been wrong because I’m actually really liking this now. In the last 50 pages I have tabbed a bunch. I’m loving the romance book references. Mav might actually be hot after all, and Emmy is a queen. They’re both winning me over. Hopefully the book feels like this for me till the end cause I really wanna love it.
