watching dara be put put in servitude again has felt frustrating also almost everyone over the age of 50 in this book is like sooo foul dude

im happy that nahri is a good surgeon but they put so much faith in someone who has previously done one single surgery before doing open heart surgery

nahri is a better person than i am bc if i finally kissed the person i love when they’re about to go on some really dire journey and they say some bullshit like “ i can’t do more with you because i need you cut the magical seal out of my heart” i would have have punched them

really enjoying that ali and nahri’s current plot is like omg i can’t love my brother’s wife but we hang out all the time while the average muntadhir and dara plots are just crimes against humanity and nuremberg defenses
