I almost didn't read this because I thought/think the cover looks like a naked woman so then the inside probably had that in it, but then I looked at it again, borrowed it in KU, and this comic isn't like that. I like it; Rachel's so sympathetic; I love the cute way she's rendered. Really good, realistic pen work in here, flat & blank for artifical surfaces, busy for natural ones & for things like busy kids' rooms.

But this reminds me of how we really have no idea what's happened long ago everywhere on this planet. We don't know what history's death we're living on!

F. P. You can sample the inside of this on Amazon--I really think the first few panels are a great opening. I've walked in the woods and among dense greenery so many times, and even though this comic's in black and white, it made me feel like I was really there. That drew me into the story. The silence of that whole section felt like I was watching a really old silent movie. The art's a bit vintage, reminiscient of living in the 80s to me.
